A340f kickdown cable. I bought a new filter and when I went to install it I realized it different than the Tacoma one I ordered. May 6, 2016 · I had no issue swapping the cable kick down valve body from my 96 4Runner A340F in place of the hydraulic kick down on the 96 LS400 A341"F". Thanks! They have an internal servo to control line pressure and need a different ecu to work correctly on a truck with a throttle cable Ahh there aren’t any mods to be done I’m guessing. I bought a 1996 4Runner trans (a340F) just assuming it would fit since it’s A a340f and it is the kick down cable version. Also, replacing the paper valve body gasket, valve body o-rings/seals and input shaft gasket is highly recommended. Unfortunately, we can't seem to find a replacement part for it!
